Calling all Bruce Randolph parents! We are looking for parents to join the Collaborative School Committee (CSC)! CSC meets on the third Thursday of each month and is a great way to learn about what is happening at Bruce, as well as make your voice heard! During CSC meetings we discuss: 

• Budget
• Curriculum 
• Events 
• School policies 
• And more! 

Parent voice is an important part of our school, we hope you will join us at the first CSC meeting of this year on Thursday, September 23 from 5-6pm.

• Masks will be required for all students, visitors, and staff while in all DPS schools and buildings, regardless of vaccination status. This mask requirement includes times when staff are meeting without students, regardless of vaccination status. 
• Masks will not be required outside, since the risk of COVID transmission is significantly lower outdoors. 
• If you are eligible, please consider getting vaccinated. The COVID vaccine has proven to be extremely effective in reducing the risk of severe illness from the virus.
• Vaccinations for eligible individuals are widely available. We will continue to partner with Denver Health to encourage vaccinations and share information on vaccine clinics.
• COVID tests are also widely available and are another health measure that can help prevent the spread of the virus.
• Please review the DPS 5 – our essential health guidelines – which we’ve updated based on current conditions.
• We also continue to make upgrades to our ventilation and air filters in our buildings and are maintaining stringent cleaning routines across all of our facilities.

All students enrolled in Denver Public Schools will have access to breakfast and lunch meals at no cost, regardless of free and reduced meal eligibility.

A la carte options (second entrée, milk, bottled water, snacks, etc.) will be available for purchase at school sites. Adult meals may be purchased, $3.00 for breakfast and $4.50 for lunch. For students who select a school lunch, they will go to the cafeteria line and choose from a variety of entrees and fruit/vegetable sides.  Students will enter their student ID at the cashier only if they purchase a la carte items.

Families who would like to get meals for children at home may go to their nearest school cafeteria and request meals for children 18 years and younger.

Families are encouraged to complete a Free and Reduced-Price Meal Application to be eligible for additional family benefits and school funding, including items such as fee waivers, EBT benefits, and to ensure proper funding for schools.

Todos los estudiantes inscritos en las Escuelas Públicas de Denver tendrán acceso a desayunos y almuerzos sin costo, independientemente de la elegibilidad para comidas gratis o reducidas.

Middle School Boys Soccer 

The middle boys soccer team is looking for all 6th, 7th, & 8th grade boys who are interested in playing soccer. We need at least 15 players to make a team so talk to your friends. The first day of practice will be on August 31, starting at 3:30-5:30pm.

Fútbol de niños de secundaria

El equipo de fútbol de chicos del medio está buscando a todos los chicos de 6º, 7º y 8º grado que estén interesados en jugar fútbol. Necesitamos al menos 15 jugadores para formar un equipo, así que habla con tus amigos. El primer día de práctica será el 31 de agosto, a partir de las 3: 30-5: 30pm.

High School Boys Soccer 

Bruce Randolph’s high School Boys soccer team is very competitive and looks to have a great year. The team plays on a million dollar synthetic turf field which is equipped with lights for night games and practices.

El equipo de fútbol masculino de secundaria de Bruce Randolph es muy competitivo y parece tener un gran año. El equipo juega en un campo de césped sintético de un millón de dólares que está equipado con luces para juegos y prácticas nocturnas.

High School Girls Volleyball 

The Lady Grizzlies are looking for any 9th, 10th, 11th & 12th graders interested in playing volleyball this year. They are working hard to “Restore the Roar” at Bruce Randolph.
