Bump, Set, Spike! Bruce Randolph will be hosting an open gym for all 6, 7, 8th grade girls interested in playing volleyball this year. Open gym will take place from 3 – 4:30pm every Monday in the month of September. The goal of open gym is to allow the athletes a chance to meet the coach, learn the basics, and have some fun. Bruce Randolph is gearing up for the middle school flag football season. Chavonne Few will lead the Grizzlies this fall and is looking for all 6, 7, 8th boys and girls who are interested in playing for the Grizzlies. Students will need a physical, complete the online registration form or paper version, and there is a $25 fee. The season will start first week of October. After school on Friday, October 1 there will be an activities fair in the back parking lot for students and parents to explore all the different clubs and activities available to students after school.
After the activities fair parents will have an opportunity to meet with their student’s teachers in the back parking lot.

Help Bruce improve how families can be involved in their student’s learning by joining Academic Family Teacher Team Meetings (AFTT)!
AFTT will meet two times a month, every other Monday, from 2:30-3:30pm. It is an opportunity for parents to share with us what is working and what isn’t working when it comes parent engagement in their student’s learning.

The FACE Centers offer free wraparound services to community members 16 or older in order to obtain critical life skills to increase their economic self-sufficiency and the academic achievement of their students.
The FACE Centers offer a variety of multi-generation services at one location, making it convenient for families to benefit from multiple services offered in their school community. Participants do not have to be DPS parents, all services are open to all community members.
