High School Volleyball:Last week the Grizzlies traveled to Platte Canyon to take on a very good Huskies team. Despite the loss the Grizzlies held their own. On Friday the Grizzlies hosted Arrupe Jesuit and the crowd saw flashes of some good volleyball. Coach Hampton and Coach B are very excited about the progress and feel the Grizzlies are headed in the right direction. This week the Grizzlies will be on the road on Tuesday (Thornton HS) & Thursday (Pinnacle Charter School).
High School Soccer: The Grizzlies continue to put in long hours in preparation for their season opener on August 28th. Last Wednesday Coach Carlos facilitated a scrimmage and the Grizzly offense is starting to come together. Sophomore Saul Rivera had a strong showing and Coach has high expectations for the team.
Now that we have a later start time this year, coshes will monitor practice times and make adjustments as needed to meet the needs of each program.
Special thanks to alumni Joselyn Casillas and current Grizzlies Monica Rubio, Marco Rubio, & Issac Varela for working a concession stand at the Ed Sheeran Concert Fundraiser. They worked hard and represented Bruce Randolph in a positive manner.
