Athletics Updates and Information

Busy week for the Bruce Randolph Athletic teams & Activities. 

  • Spirit Week: Monday-Pajama Day, Tuesday- Twin Day, Wednesday-Western or Old People Day, Thursday-Throwback or Retro Day, Friday-School Spirit Day. 
  • Powderpuff Volleyball Game on Monday 6-7pm in “The Den”. Stop by and watch the Soccer team show off their skills on the volleyball court as they battle for bragging rights. 
  • Powderpuff Flag Football Game on Wednesday 6-7pm on the turf field. Watch our Grizzly volleyball team as they take to the gridiron for the White/Maroon Flagfootball game. 
  • Prep Rally: Friday, October 6th 2:17-3:15 pm. New Spirit Stick, class competitions, meet the teams (HS volleyball & HS Soccer), a little bit of music and you never know – possibly a surprise visit from a legendary performer/dance troop (Kid Iowa?, New Edition?) 
  • Homecoming Dance: Come get your groove on at the Homecoming Dance later in the evening from 7-11pm on Friday. 
  • HS Boys’ Soccer: The Grizzlies will host Pinnacle Charter School on Tuesday, Oct. 3rd. 4:30pm start time.  
  • HS Girls Volleyball: The KIPP Tigers will dare to enter “The Den” this Thursday to take on the Grizzlies. The JV game is set for a 5:30pm start and the Varsity game to follow at 6:30pm.
  • MS boys’ soccer: The Grizzly Cubs will host a tough Skinner Scorpion team on Thursday at 4:15pm. Winner will most likely make the playoffs.   
  • MS Flag Football: Practice on Friday 3:45-5:30pm 
  • MS Volleyball: will have two practice this week- Monday 3:30-4:30pm & Friday 3:30-4:30pm
  • Special Grizzly Roars go out to: Student Council for all the hard work on making Spirit Week/Homecoming a reality (Kidnane, Muchow, Fangmeier, & Bruce Leadership Team)- we see all of the hard work that is done scenes. Also a Grizzly Roar to all of the fans who stopped by the Boys’ Soccer game this Saturday, despite a tough 2-1 loss, we had close to 100 people cheering the Grizzlies on with so many Alums in the house. One final Grizzly Roar goes out to all of the people who stopped by the Cheer Ice Cream Social on Friday to help support our Grizzly Cheer Team on their quest to raise money to purchase new uniforms. Great work Coach Bouncy!
