Athletics Updates and Information

HS Boys’ Basketball: Played hard and gave great effort in the Santiago’s Shootout Tournament going 1-2 against great competition. This week the Grizzlies will host the Lancers from Abraham Lincoln on Tuesday, tip off is at 7pm. If you’re free stop by and support the team. On Thursday, Coach Huff and the Grizzlies will travel to the Highlands Ranch area to take on the Skyview Academy Hawks. Good luck!  

HS Girls’ Basketball: The Lady Grizzlies played in the Santiago’s Shootout this past weekend and despite not winning a game the Grizzlies played hard and gained valuable experience for the upcoming league schedule. This week the Grizzlies will host Lincoln High School for a 5:30pm game and will travel to Skyview Academy on Thursday.  

Middle School Boys’ & Girls’ Basketball: All 6th, 7th, & 8th grade boys and girls will have their second open gym on Thursday 3:30-4:30pm.   

Grizzly Roars goes out to Alexandra Casillas as she played a great game on Saturday in the DPS Volleyball All Star Game as her team, which consisted of players from various DPS Schools played as one unit and came away with a win.

Another Grizzly Roar goes out to 8th grader Valeria Espino who participated in the inaugural DPS Middle School Volleyball All Star game and represented Bruce Randolh in a positive manner. The future of Grizzly Volleyball looks promising with players like Valeria.
