9th Grade Re-Enrollment
SchoolChoice is coming up and it’s almost time for your 8th grade student to talk about what’s next! Join us at our January 19th Coffee with the Principal.
Attendance Goals
Our goal attendance is at 90% for both Middle School and High School. Currently Middle School is at 86% and High School is at 87%. Please help us get off to a great second semester by having your student here on January 3rd.
CSU Day at the Stock Show – January 13th
January 13th is CSU Day at the Stock Show! We love to have High School families attend this event. Free admission to CSU Spur is offered that day. Look for more information in the coming days to have your student to attend CSU in the near future and for more programs.
Pancake Breakfast
Shoutout to these students for awesome attendance! On Thursday we did a pancake breakfasts for students who have 90% attendance or better.
Reminders about the Central Community Hub:
– We are closed for winter break December 18th – January 2nd 2024
– We are now taking enrollment for our new ESL 1 class and GED in Spanish starting in January 2024
– All DPS families are eligible to visit our boutique for clothing and hygiene products
– We are accepting donations for winter coats, boots, hats and gloves
– We continue to support with new to country school registration, SNAP/Medicaid applications, workforce development, dental assistance, and Energy Outreach Colorado (xcel energy bills)
– All school staff and community partners can refer families and students to the community hub using the following referral form (this referral form is only for school staff, families can self refer by calling our office 720-424-3710)
Saturday Enrichment
It’s not too late to sign your student up for Saturday Enrichment! They’ll have the chance to improve their math, reading, speaking and writing skills. Additionally, your student will have the opportunity to practice coding using Lego coding kits. To sign your student up or to learn more, contact the main office at 720-424-1080.
