Denver Kids Educational SEL Counselor

We’re so excited to introduce our new Denver Kids SEL Counselor, Veronica Paz-Baca! Read the caption below to learn more about our new counselor.

“Hi all,
I’m Veronica, the new Denver Kids Educational SEL counselor and am so excited to be a part of the Grizzly community!
As your Denver Kids Educational SEL Counselor, I will meet with my caseload of students at least twice a month to provide 1:1 social-emotional counseling, academic support, college and career exploration, and other enrichment activities. I regularly
communicate with my students’ families and occasionally conduct home visits.
Prior to working at Denver Kids, I was a 6th Social Studies teacher in Durham, North Carolina. In my free time, I love to hike, bake new recipes, and work on punch needling. I am so excited for the opportunity to work with the Bruce Randolph community and collaborate with you to best support students!”
