MS Girls & Boys:
The Grizzly Cubs will be in action on Tuesday vs Hamilton. This will be the last home game for the Grizzlies. The boys will square off against two of DPS’s top prospects and the girl’s team will play the nightcap game at 5pm. Both teams hope to take last week’s wins into this week.

HS Girls Basketball: Last week the Lady Grizzlies won two games and Coach Jones hopes to take that momentum into this week as they have three games against Frontier League opponents Lake County, Jefferson & Englewood.

HS Boys Basketball: Bruce Randolph’s own version of Hoosiers, the boys team is steadily getting better and learning how to win, despite the low numbers due to injuries. They are no longer the team to be overlooked and are the buzz around the Frontier league.

HS Girls Soccer: The ladies will continue week 2 of off season workouts and we have seen a steady growth and are up to 10.

HS Boys Baseball: Coach Washington & Coach Dowdell will continue the course in week 3 of preseason workouts. With the nice week of weather the Boys of Spring will be outside.

  • Grizzly Roars go out to the entire game management squad: Mr B, Triggs, Delores, MIlls, Jamal, Randy, Brittany, Emma, Safety & Security, the facilities staff and Olson all have been working and managing the games. They have received so many compliments on how smooth things are going, hospitality during our home games and great facilities. Great work!
  • Also to Chet Willimas (Former Bruce Randolph Staff member, Coach and sponsor to our Grizzly Baseball Team) who stopped by on Saturday to facilitate a CPR class. Always great to have Coach Chet around, he definitely brightens up the room.
  • And to Mr. Kidane who has been religious like with our Ms girls basketball team as he facilitates Saturday practices. We have several young cubs who have never played before and Coach K has them going in the right direction. The combination of Mr. K and Coach Brit have our Ms girls team making big strides and steadily growing in numbers.
  • Final Grizzly Roar goes out to Diaz Concrete & Los Mineros baseball teams who spent this Saturday cleaning up the baseball field, adjusting the batting cage poles, cleaning the cage and taking an active interest in our baseball facilities. We have two more community days planned to clean and improve our facilities. Have to give the fellas some props as after a day of hard work, they make some of the best tacos.

*Remember that we have the DPS Spring Coaches meeting this Monday, January 29th @ Denver West High School from 5-7pm.

*Also one of the cables on the curtain, in the gym, has come off track, thus we can’t put it down. Zach/Ethan have put in a work order and we hope to have it fixed soon.
