Read the information below regarding this school year’s transportation information.
Success Express features a fleet of DPS buses that circulate through the Far Northeast and Central neighborhoods and offer students multiple opportunities to catch a ride. The shuttle runs for several hours in the morning and afternoon, facilitating more flexible school days and on-time access for students to their participating school of choice.
Students can get on or off any bus at any stop. Every bus has two adults on board – the driver and a paraprofessional, whose primary job will be to make sure students are getting on and off at the right spot, and doing so safely.

Starting in September, RTD will offer free bus and train rides for students as part of their new Zero Fare for Youth pilot program. Students can ride for free starting Sept. 1 until Aug. 31, 2024. To board the bus or train, students will need to show a form of ID. This can be a current school ID, valid government-issued ID, registration/permanent resident card, Military ID/dependent card with DOB, or RTD-issued youth special discount card. Bruce students will receive their school ID’s on September 11th.
With the pilot program in place, please note that DPS Transportation will not be providing paper or virtual RTD tickets for the 2023-24 school year.
