Collaborative School Committee (CSC) Meeting
Join us next week on Thurs., Sept. 19, for our first CSC meeting at 5 p.m. in our Bruce library! We will provide free dinners for families that attend.

CSC is a group that meets monthly at Bruce. It is comprised of a teacher, families of students, and community members. The goal of this committee is to advise the principal on recommendations regarding budget, staffing, events, etc.  We would love to have more parents join that committee.

Coffee with the Principal
On Thurs., Sept. 19, we will also be hosting our Coffee with the Principal! You will have the opportunity to discuss school goals for the 2024-25 school year and any suggestions you might have to improve Bruce Randolph.

RTD – Zero Fare for Youth

To ride at no cost as part of this program, you must be prepared to show one of the following to the bus operator or fare inspector: current school ID, valid government-issued ID, alien registration/permanent resident card, Military ID/dependent card with DOB, RTD-issued youth special discount card.

Back to School Night Recap

Shoutout to all of our families who joined us last night at our Bruce Back to School Night! We had an awesome time meeting you all and can’t wait for the rest of this school year.

Gifted and Talented

Hello Bruce GT Families!
My name is Becca Glosser and I am the Gifted and Talented Program Coordinator here at Bruce Randolph Middle School. I am on campus on Tuesdays this school year and wanted to wish you a warm welcome (or welcome back)! Our acceleration program is in full effect and a majority of GT students are currently engaging in above grade level curriculum in literacy and mathematics.

For those students requiring advanced learning plans, we are in the process of developing those and finalizing your student’s goals. We hope to create meaningful goals that will challenge your student in their strength area(s) while also maintaining a high level of support from staff in our community. All Advanced Learning Plans (ALPs) will be finalized by October 30th and a copy will be shared to the preferred primary email address on file (unless you have specified otherwise). Please reach out directly if you have any questions about your students identification status or strength area(s). Our program plan for this school year is in the process of being updated and will be posted on our website (Gifted and Talented page).

I wanted to share this flyer for our 24-25 Family Series sessions. All sessions are an excellent opportunity to learn more about what it means to be gifted and talented and are open to students and their families grades 5th-12th grade. Looking forward to another great year as a Bruce Grizzly!
